A vacation to Big Sky isn’t complete without a family session. You’d probably, no definitely, regret skipping out on family photos with the breathtaking natural backdrops of Big Sky. The Tuckers visited last summer with extended family, and they couldn’t have been more fun to photograph.

She surprised him with a trip to Montana, the cutest Airbnb rental, and a session to boot. I pretty much want to be Barb. And if you didn’t think she could get any better, she picked up the perfect blooms from Labellum before the session. I loved photographing these two and felt right at home with them. Not only did we shoot in the cabin and while they made dinner, we ended the session on the cutest front porch you ever did see with beautiful views of the Bridger Mountains.

The best gifts are the ones that keep on giving.
Kelly is a Helena photographer and one of her clients reached out to me raving about all the beautiful photos Kelly had captured of her family over the years. She wanted to thank her by gifting her a family session so Kelly could be the one in front of the camera for a change. That was the sweetest gesture, and I can’t think of a better gift. This session was filled with so much goodness that I can barely put it all into words. Luckily for me, I tell stories with pictures, so go ahead and scroll and feel it all for yourself.
Also, I’ve heard it said so many times that photographers are the worst at getting their pictures taken. Not true.

The candid shots really are the best because it’s real life and you adore your real life family. This session was busy with three little kiddos throwing rocks, crossing bridges, and climbing on fallen trees trunks.
